Recently, Seasun Inc., one of top game developers and publishers in China, announced the revenue figures for the first half of 2016. The company earned RMB930 million (around US$140 million ) in revenue in the first half, an increase of 50% compared to the same period last year.
The earnings were mainly driven by its well-known JX series (JX means Swordman). According to the official figures, its MMORPR JX Online 3 earned RMB340 million (around US$51 million) for the second quarter, up 88% from the same period one year ago. JX Mobile, developed by Seasun and released by Tencent on June 1st, made over RMB500 million (around US$75 million) for the first month.
The next two mobile games based on JX will be coming out soon.
